Both the Zodiac Wheel in astrology and the Medicine Wheel in shamanism use a circle to show you how to connect with the cycles of life and the universe. Both offer you a way to understand and navigate through the changes and stages of your life.

Circular Structure

Zodiac Wheel: It is a circle divided into twelve segments, each representing a zodiac sign. This division symbolizes the twelve fundamental archetypes of human experience and the annual cycles of the sun through the sky.

Medicine Wheel: It is also based on a circular structure and is often divided into four quadrants that represent the cardinal directions (north, south, east, west). These directions are associated with different energies, teachings, and aspects of life, according to the particular tradition.

Four Cardinal Points

Zodiac Wheel: The cardinal signs (Aries, Cancer, Libra, Capricorn) mark the beginning of the seasons in the northern hemisphere and symbolize points of initiation, action, and leadership.

Medicine Wheel: The four quadrants are associated with the cardinal points, each carrying specific meanings, such as stages of life, elements of nature, power animals, and spiritual aspects. These points guide personal growth and understanding of the world.

Cycles of Life and Spirituality

Zodiac Wheel: It symbolizes the soul’s journey through different life stages and existential challenges, offering guidance for personal and spiritual growth.

Medicine Wheel: It is used as a map for spiritual development, healing, and understanding of natural cycles and the interconnectedness of all things.

Tools for Understanding and Navigation

Both wheels are used as tools to understand and navigate the cycles of life, offering perspectives on how to align with these energies for well-being and personal growth. They provide a framework for reflecting on the cyclical nature of existence and how individuals can move harmoniously within these cycles.

Both wheels talk to you about the importance of cycles: how everything in life comes and goes, and how you can grow and learn with each phase. They invite you to see how you are part of something much larger, connected both to the cosmos and to the Earth, and how to live in a way that you are in tune with these natural and cosmic cycles.

Cartography of a Point That Doesn’t Exist

There’s a calculation in your birth chart that induces vertigo. It’s not a celestial body. It’s a mathematical intersection between the prime vertical and the ecliptic in the west. Pure geometry. And yet, when something touches it — a transit, someone else’s planet in synastry — something tears in the ordinary fabric of your days.

The Vertex works like imaginary numbers: necessary for the equation to close, invisible in the material world. A vanishing point in a system that pretends to be closed.

Phenomenology of the Vertex Encounter

You recognize the Vertex activation by its effects — never in advance. Reality gains dreamlike density without losing clarity. A stranger at a café says exactly the sentence you needed to hear ten years ago. A book falls open on the precise page. Someone appears with a face you’ve seen in your dreams.

It’s not mysticism. It’s the recognition of patterns beyond linear causality. The Vertex marks coordinates where time folds onto itself.

The Vertex as Temporal Anomaly: Essay on an Uncomfortable Hypothesis

There’s something unsettling about Vertex encounters that traditional astrology never quite explains. It’s not just the intensity or impossible timing. It’s the specific quality of recognition without memory — the feeling of living something that already happened, but not here, not in this exact life.

I propose we entertain a hypothesis: what if the Vertex, being mathematically an intersection point, functions as such not only in space but in something more complex? What if it marks intersections between possible timelines?

Geometry Suggests Multiplicity

Let’s consider the nature of the Vertex. It’s the point where the prime vertical intersects the western ecliptic. Pure celestial geometry. But every intersection implies at least two elements crossing. The question is: what exactly is crossing?

Astrology assumes it’s circles intersecting on a plane. But the lived experience of the Vertex suggests something more complex. The encounters it marks have total internal coherence — as if they come from a complete parallel story we only brush against.

Phenomenology of Activation

Let’s observe what happens during a transit to the Vertex. It’s not gradual like other transits. It’s a switch, a state change. One day your life has a certain texture, a certain inner logic. The exact transit hits and suddenly:

• People appear who know you in impossible ways
• Situations arise with perfect narrative logic but no continuity with your history
• A feeling of living someone else’s life — who is also you
• Déjà vu not of a moment but of an entire storyline

What if this isn’t symbolism, but literal description?

The Parallel Lives Hypothesis

Here’s where it gets uncomfortable. If we take Vertex experiences seriously, it would seem that during its activation we briefly access alternate timelines. Not “past lives” or “possible futures,” but parallel presents unfolding simultaneously.

That would explain why Vertex encounters feel predestined: they don’t come from the future or the past, but from a storyline that is happening now — in parallel — where that person is already significant.

Obvious Objections

I know how this sounds. But consider: quantum physics already accepts superposition of states. Non-Euclidean geometry allows spaces where parallels meet. Why couldn’t astrology — which works with symbolic dimensions of time-space — point to where the singularity of the timeline becomes porous?

This isn’t cheap metaphysics. It’s a suggestion that the Vertex may be marking something our linear understanding of time cannot properly process.

Practical Implications

If there’s any truth to this hypothesis, it shifts how we understand Vertex activations:

• They wouldn’t be “destined meetings” but moments of temporal superposition
• The sense of familiarity would be memory from that other timeline
• The transformation arises from integrating experiences of that parallel life
• Their unpredictability is structural: you can’t anticipate what happens in a timeline you don’t have access to

A Final Speculation

Perhaps the Vertex is the point where your birth chart admits you’re not just one story, but a bundle of possibilities mostly running separately. And occasionally, when transits allow, those stories touch, recognize each other, exchange characters.

It’s not fate. It’s navigation between simultaneous versions of your life. And maybe that’s why the Vertex can only exist on the western side of the chart: it needs the territory of encounter, of the Other, to reveal that this Other already exists in one of your parallel stories.

This is just a hypothesis. A way of thinking through experiences that resist more conventional explanations. But if you’ve lived through a strong Vertex activation, you may recognize something here that no other astrological theory has ever named.

House Architecture: Where Realities Touch

If we accept the hypothesis that the Vertex marks porous points between timelines, then the houses don’t just show where the encounter happens — they indicate which aspect of your life has the most active parallel versions.

Vertex in the 5th House: Simultaneous Creativities

In another timeline you are the artist you didn’t dare to become. Or the lover you never met. Or the parent of children who exist on another plane. When the Vertex activates here, those versions bleed into this reality. Suddenly you’re creating works you “remember” having made. You meet loves you already knew in overly vivid dreams. The 5th house with Vertex is where your creative potentials all exist at once, awaiting manifestation.

Vertex in the 6th House: Parallel Routines

What if, in another timeline, you chose a different job? A different way of inhabiting your body? The Vertex here brings encounters with people from those other possible routines. A physiotherapist who treats you as if they know your medical history from another life. A colleague who appears and fits perfectly into a job you didn’t know you could do. The health crisis that reveals a body you’ve been inhabiting in parallel.

Vertex in the 7th House: The Other Who Already Exists

The most unsettling house for this hypothesis. If the Vertex in 7 marks encounters with people from parallel timelines, then that other is already your partner/soulmate/enemy in some version of your life. That’s why recognition is so brutal. It’s not love at first sight — it’s love from an entire life happening on another channel. Activations here bring people with whom you have a complete history in alternate realities.

Vertex in the 8th House: The Deaths You Didn’t Live

Every crisis not crossed, every transformation avoided, is fully completed in some other timeline. The Vertex in 8 brings people who witnessed or catalyzed those symbolic deaths in parallel versions of your story. They show up knowing exactly what you need to let go of — because they’ve already seen it happen. The energy exchanges are intense because these aren’t first encounters: they’re interdimensional reunions.

Liminal Positions: Where the Model Stretches

• Vertex in the 4th House (low extreme latitudes): Home as a multidimensional concept. Encounters that reveal alternate families, different origins, impossible genealogies that feel emotionally true. As if you had multiple childhoods running in parallel.
• Vertex in the 9th House (high extreme latitudes): Philosophies you developed in lives where you took different paths. Teachers who show up to teach what you already know in another timeline. Journeys that are returns to places you’ve never been but recognize instantly.

Revised Operating Principle

The Vertex’s house doesn’t determine the type of encounter, but the life domain where your parallel versions diverge most dramatically. Where the contrast between possible yous is sharpest.

That’s why it hurts — and transforms — so deeply: you’re not discovering something new. You’re encountering fragments of yourself that exist fully in other channels of reality. The Vertex is where those signals cross — where interference between your possible lives becomes audible.

And that’s why it can only exist in the western hemisphere: you need the mirror of the other to recognize the you that you are not being — in this specific timeline.

Encounters that change your destiny – The Vertex VIDEO

This is perhaps one of the least relevant articles that I am going to write since the approximate dates of the foundations of the great civilizations are not exact. However, it is interesting to see the positions of the slower planets since we can have some approximate information about the transformative energies of each one of them.

Sumerian civilization (Mesopotamia): around 4000 B.C.

The Sumerian civilization dates from 5500 to 4000 B.C. Due to the extent of its possible founding, there are no reliable astrological positions to which we can refer.

Egyptian civilization: around 3100 B.C.

• Pluto Position: Aquarius
• Neptune Position: Sagittarius
• Uranus Position: Pisces

Indus Valley Civilization: around 2600 B.C.

• Pluto Position: Aquarius

So far, the dates of the foundations of civilizations are approximate. You don’t have to rely too much on the positions. I only add it as a curious (and possibly false) fact.

Have you ever wondered why you live certain situations? Or what are you looking to achieve at an evolutionary level? What is my Soul purpose? This is a question we ask ourselves many times. Our birth chart can give us an idea of it.

Through the position and aspects of the nodes of the Moon and Pluto we can understand the process of transformation and evolution of our being. Perhaps this is the most elusive information for our consciousness … the transformation process occurs unconsciously – it is not a voluntary process. And many times, we try to avoid it, or control it.

We all go through this transformation, both individually and collectively. Individually, we live it within the life area (or astrological house) where the nodes of the Moon and Pluto are located.

Pluto shows us where we are leaving our old self. This is where we will find the most resistance. We will go through various crises that will show us habits that no longer serve us. With Pluto, we shed the old skin. Pluto unveils where we carry ancestral memories, and even memories of past lives that will manifest in this incarnation as irrational behaviors to which we need to give a new consciousness, renew them.

The nodes of the Moon show the evolutionary leap that our soul seeks for this incarnation. The north node indicates the qualities that we want to develop in this incarnation while the south node shows the qualities that we have developed in the past with which we feel very comfortable, and make us prone to stay where we are. Being in opposite signs, here we see how the polarities act. The nodes are actually “One” entity. One does not exist without the other. Being in opposite signs, here we see how one becomes the mirror of the other, and in that way, they become more self-aware.

The axis of the nodes is what pushes us to seek balance in our lives. We go from one extreme to the other until, through time and learning, we manage to maintain an internal balance.

Of course, the entire birth chart shows us our present experience:

• The position of the Sun indicates the direction of our being while the Moon indicates the way we perceive reality. With the personal planets, (Sun, Moon, Mercury, Venus and Mars) we see the format of our being, the way we feel, think, react, etc.
• Jupiter and Saturn, the social planets, tell us how we are personally impacted by reality and the belief system into which we were born.
• The transpersonal planets (Uranus, Neptune and Pluto) show us how the generational currents of which we are a part affect us personally.

It is through our present Self that we follow the path of the soul. There is nothing left over or missing. Even the challenges we go through, from self-esteem, relational, or material issues to naturally flowing gifts are part of our evolutionary path. Our job in this incarnation is to become creators of our own destiny.

In a sense, life is like a school where we learn to master energies. We begin being (sort of) controlled by them, through how external reality -which is nothing more than a reflection of the internal reality- manifests itself in our lives, and as we go through experiences, we learn to creatively direct them.

Seen from the point of view of our Higher Self, we are artists who came to create themselves. And we do this using our free will and the energetic material of this crazy world. It is a worthwhile adventure. The challenges we go through only indicate what we have come to master. It’s not exciting?

Many times, without realizing it, we create mental stories that, without knowing it, fill our aura with negative residues. At the same time, we are forming etheric cords with the individuals and situations towards which we direct our thoughts. The same is true of our words. When we talk about other people, we also create cords. Many of the etheric cords that are attached to our aura have been formed by the thoughts or words of others towards us. If these thoughts or words resonate with us, an etheric bond is formed. That is why many times we find ourselves thinking of someone or something without knowing why.

“Be impeccable with your words”

The impeccability of our words is the first of the Four Toltec Agreements explained by Don Miguel Ruiz. This is an agreement that requires discipline and attention, since not only do we need to re-educate the way we express ourselves, but we also need to keep our minds clean so as not to be affected by the words we hear from others or the thoughts that have us as protagonists.

Words capture our attention, enter our mind, and affect the way we look at ourselves, others, and reality. Words are magic and they have power over our perception.

The human mind is like a fertile field in which seeds are continually being planted. Seeds are opinions, ideas and concepts. You plant a seed, a thought, and it grows. Words are like seeds, and the human mind is very fertile! The only problem is, all too often it is fertile for the seeds of fear. All human minds are fertile, but only for the kind of seed for which they are prepared. The important thing is to discover what kinds of seeds our mind is fertile for, and to prepare it to receive the seeds of love.

We have learned from childhood to listen to conversations where many things are said without thinking. Even when we are not inclined to gossip, we often criticize politicians or other celebrities simply because everyone else does. When we do this, our etheric field begins to resonate with related thought forms. This is why we need to pay close attention to what we say. It is our words and thoughts that nurture the resonance field of the aura. I think we have all experienced that, if we think about something enough, in a short time that idea remains in our mind constantly.

How to clean our mind

Be it words or thoughts, in both cases, what we have said, heard or thought creates a thought form that remains in our etheric field. The way to undo that “thoughtform” requires patience, compassion, and practice.

Sometimes negative thoughts about something or someone come to us unexpectedly. This can happen because we are receiving the thoughts or words that are transmitted through the etheric cords that we have created with other people. The reason we receive these thoughts is because our minds are open to them. That is … we ourselves have nurtured it with similar thoughts on other occasions. When what we think is not what we want to manifest in our lives, we need to do a mental cleaning. For this, we have to not fall into the temptation to nurture the thoughts that we do not want to manifest in our reality. So when they appear, we let them pass by, without entering into dialogue with them. As I said before, this requires patience.

The same goes for the way we talk about ourselves. We have learned since childhood to observe ourselves with self-criticism, without tenderness. A good exercise is to take a picture of our childhood and talk to that child in the way we talk to ourselves in the present. Is this how you would talk to him or her? If not … how would you do it?

It takes about 30 days to create a new habit. Practicing mental and verbal impeccability every day for a month will cleanse our aura of thought forms that do not correspond to what we are nurturing our mind. If we nourish it with gossip or self-deprecating thoughts , we will reject the productive, the positive, the prosperous… for being discordant with our most active energy. If instead, we nourish our mind with our projects, our goals, the things we love, etc., our mind will stop capturing what does not correspond to the energy of prosperity and love. The mind will begin to receive ideas that are aligned with what we want to experience, create, live. And little by little, the etheric cords that we have inadvertently formed with people or circumstances that do not correspond with this energy will dissolve forever and will no longer appear in our lives.

You can also use affirmations. Many times we believe that they are useless because the words we say do not resonate with what we feel. However, when we repeat affirmations often, sooner or later parts of us that are latent begin to resonate. Another option is to practice leaving the mind completely empty of thoughts. In this way, we open ourselves to the possibility of receiving the information we need without interference.

What’s important is to know that what we think, we create. So, take care of your mind with love. Turn it into an oasis. Dismantle what doesn’t help you thrive in life. Don’t join in the gossip. That way, your aura will stay crystal clear, clean, healthy. And you will begin to attract into your life what your aura reflects.

What is Reiki

Reiki is a tool that promotes self-healing and harmonization of our energy field through the use of Chi energy or life force. The practitioner acts as a channel for this energy, allowing it to synchronize with the client. Our bodies are made of energy. There are parts that are denser, such as bones, muscles, organs, etc. Then there are parts that are more subtle, like thoughts, emotions, etc.

When a practitioner is performing a Reiki healing session, their hands radiate an energy that vibrates in the 7-10 Hz range, called Theta and Alpha. Theta waves induce deep levels of relaxation, allowing the body and mind to recover. These waves help slow down our brain. They also enhance creativity, inspiration, and intuition. Alpha waves are those found in meditators. They have the ability to relax and keep the mind idle when it is not concentrating on a specific task.

Reiki works by synchronization (or entrainment). If we place two identical metronomes on a wooden bar mounted on two soda cans, we will find that the rhythms of these mechanical devices, used by musicians to keep time, can be synchronized in minutes or even seconds. As with the metronomes, the practitioner vibrates with the Reiki energy and the client synchronizes with it. It is not the practitioner who heals the client. It is the ability to constantly vibrate with Reiki energy (chi) that helps their client. When the client begins to vibrate at the same frequency as the practitioner, the self-healing process begins.

Reiki is transmitted from teacher to student through what is called “reiki attunement,” a ceremony that allows the student to connect to the universal source of Reiki. Once the student has received the initiations, he or she is ready to become an energy channel for this energy.

Reiki healing is always done with consent. We cannot send Reiki to those who have not given us their permission. Even when we do Reiki on animals, we first ask for their consent and use our intuition and observation of animal behavior to find out whether they agree or not. In all cases, the practitioner has no control over the outcome of the session. Reiki will always work in the highest good of the recipient.

Remote Reiki Healing

Reiki energy is not limited by space and time. We can send Reiki to another person at a distance, as well as to the past. Even the future. We can send Reiki to humans, other species, events, situations, Mother Earth, etc. We can do remote healing using anything as a substitute for the client: a photo, a written piece of paper, the name or something that helps the practitioner to feel that they are connecting with the client. This is personal and goes according to what serves each one. During my remote Reiki sessions, I began using the natal charts to send Reiki energy remotely. In this way I connect with the essential geometry of the client. I even add the planetary transits of the moment to harmonize in the best possible way with the individual and their current state. It is always my intention that the reiki energy works for the highest good of the client.

We can do remote healing using anything as a surrogate for the client. During my remote Reiki sessions, I started using the birth charts in order to send Reiki energy to the essential geometry of the individual. I also add the current transits to harmonize in the best possible way the individual with the current energies. I always set as intention that the reiki energy works for the highest good of the client.

During energy healing, it is good, but not necessary, to make an appointment and reserve 30 minutes where the client can remain calm and undisturbed at the time I am performing the remote session. Sometimes it can happen that the receiver does not feel anything. Other times, they may feel something at the same time or later. The Reiki healing will continue her work once the session is over.

If we look at the concept of the old paradigm that, in a certain way, still fights to stay alive and that had its peak especially during the 1950s of the last century, we see that the masculine archetype has been molded from the Fire element – the conqueror (Aries) , the king (Leo) and the explorer (Sagittarius), while the female archetype has been recreated from the Water element – the mother (Cancer), the hetaira (Scorpio) and the saint (Pisces).

Fire, along with Air, are elements that represent masculine energy, while Water and Earth are elements that embody receptivity, or feminine energy. It is clear that the feminine and masculine archetypes had been established from a one-dimensional point of view which, of course, has political, psychological and social reasons. These archetypes began to unravel in the 1960s. Beginning in October 1965, there was a rare and powerful conjunction of Uranus and Pluto (which occurs approximately once every 200 years). Uranus opens spaces for the new, creating disruptions in the status quo. It brings sudden changes, replacing outdated attitudes with more innovative and constructive ones. Pluto forces us to transmute what is no longer useful. This planet brings to the surface what is worthless and destroys it. The conjunction occurred in the sign of Virgo. When Pluto is here, what is left is transformed it into something useful. And when we find it next to Uranus, it produces a strong critical attitude towards the establishment. And this is what happened in 1965. The hippie movement, the activists against the wars of the moment, the miniskirt, long hair in men … are examples of this energy.

Also at this time we see the emergence of the personal development movement (or New Age). We can say that it was the Beatles who introduced young people to the concept of mantras, journeying into the unconscious and meditation. Back then, George Harrison along with John Lennon, Paul McCartney and other celebrities traveled to India and joined the Maharishi, popularizing personal development in the West.

Today, the concept that both men and women possess masculine and feminine energies is widely accepted. We can see this clearly in a birth chart, where we see how these energies are distributed in very different ways within an individual, regardless of gender and regardless of sexual preferences. But back then, this was a true revolution. And that was how the dismantling of the feminine archetype as it had been known until then began. It was especially in the 50s when we observe the pressure that women went through and that is palpable in the fashion of that decade. This pressure was the prelude to the revolution that followed. It is as if women needed to become a wedding cake doll so that inside her the need to break with all the patterns that regulated her behavior for centuries could arise. The same happened with men, who went from slicked to long hair, among other things.

And that’s how the compression and release processes work. It is like the moment a chick hatches from the egg. In order to be born, the chick needs to break the shell that surrounds him or her. In the case of social paradigms, the shell is invisible and that is why we need pressure (or oppression) on our own body and mind to perceive what limits us and thus be able to free ourselves from it.

Celestial objects do not condition our behavior, but rather reflect what happens on our reality. We can say that in the 60s, humanity was ready to get out of the old mold. How to make carrot juice with a blender

If you don’t have a juicer, you can use a blender. Peel five carrots, cut them into pieces, and put them in the blender with a little water (just enough for the blender to do its job). When the carrots have the consistency of puree, place them in a strainer and separate the juice from the pulp. Voilà!

You can use the pulp to make a salad. Add a little olive oil, apple cider vinegar and a pinch of salt. You can also add other vegetables (the more colorful the better!). It is healthy, fresh and delicious!

The industrial era of the mid-nineteenth century created a boom in everything that was built by man. The industrial sector increased. Commerce, domestic service, bureaucracy, mass production system and the administrative sector were booming. The Industrial era changed society completely.
