15 Phrases that Will Let Taurus Know that He or She IS NOT his or her Soul Mate

In the intricate tapestry of relationships, Taurus emerges as a beacon of steadfastness and depth. Governed by Venus, the planet of love, beauty, and values, Taurus brings to their partnerships a desire for stability, comfort, and sensual pleasure. For Taurus, love is not a fleeting moment but a gradual, deepening bond that grows richer with time. They seek relationships that are built on trust, mutual respect, and a shared appreciation for the finer things in life.

A Taurus in love is patient, loyal, and supportive. They are the ones who revel in creating a comfortable and beautiful home environment, where the relationship can flourish away from the chaos of the outside world. They cherish the routine and the simple pleasures of shared meals, quiet evenings, and the tactile expression of love. Yet, beneath their calm exterior lies a passionate soul that values deep connection and intimacy.

However, their love for stability and resistance to change can sometimes manifest as stubbornness, making it challenging for them to adapt to the dynamic nature of relationships. Their need for security means they do not rush into relationships lightly and can be quite selective in choosing a partner who aligns with their values and desires.

In relationships, Taurus seeks someone who understands their need for both emotional and material security. They are drawn to partners who share their love for the sensual aspects of life, who appreciate tradition and the effort Taurus puts into building a stable and harmonious life together. Compatibility with Taurus means embracing their pace, understanding their need for loyalty and security, and cherishing the quiet moments just as much as the grand gestures of love.

Being in a relationship with a Taurus is to experience love in its most comforting and enriching form. It’s a journey of building something lasting, where loyalty is unwavering, and love is expressed through acts of kindness, beauty, and a shared commitment to each other’s wellbeing. For Taurus, love is an enduring promise of safety, pleasure, and mutual growthโ€”a sanctuary built together with patience and devotion.

The following 15 phrases are crafted to underline a fundamental discord with Taurus’ need for stability, comfort, and sensory enjoyment, pinpointing traits that might dissuade a Taurus from seeing someone as their perfect counterpart. Let’s delve in:

15 Phrases that Will Let Scorpio Know that He or She IS NOT his or her Soul Mate

In the enigmatic universe of relationships, Scorpio emerges as a deeply intense and mysterious entity. Governed by Pluto, the planet of transformation and rebirth, Scorpio seeks in relationships not only love and connection but also the opportunity for mutual growth and profound transformation. For Scorpio, love is a serious and absorbing experience, a fusion of souls that transcends superficiality to delve into the depths of being.

Scorpio navigates the world of emotions with unparalleled intensity, always seeking truth and authenticity in their interactions. They settle for nothing less than a total connection, where secrets have no place, and vulnerability is welcomed as a gateway to the deepest intimacy. Trust is fundamental for Scorpio, built on the premise of unfettered honesty and unbreakable loyalty.

In relationships, this zodiac sign often appears cautious at first, assessing the emotional security and sincerity of their partner. However, once they feel secure, they commit with total passion and dedication. Scorpio’s passion is not limited to the emotional realm; it also extends to an intense desire to understand their partner on all levels, constantly seeking to deepen the shared connection.

Yet, this very depth can lead Scorpio to face challenges in relationships. Their intense nature and sometimes controlling demeanor can be overwhelming for partners less willing to explore emotional depths. Moreover, their aversion to deceit and betrayal can make them extremely protective of their heart, sometimes resulting in a difficult-to-penetrate wall.

Being in a relationship with Scorpio is to embark on a journey into the unknown, where love becomes a process of personal and mutual discovery. It’s a path marked by transformation, passion, and the revelation of hidden truths, where the ultimate goal is a connection so deep and authentic that it transcends the ordinary to touch the sublime.

These phrases are intended to reflect a deep incompatibility with Scorpio’s intensity and complexity in a way that captures the essence of what might deter a Scorpio from considering someone their ideal match. Here we go:

    • โ€œI prefer to avoid conflicts whenever possible.โ€ Scorpio values honesty and facing uncomfortable truths. Avoiding conflicts may seem like youโ€™re avoiding emotional intimacy or deep truths.
    • โ€œI donโ€™t like delving too deep in conversations.โ€ Scorpio seeks a deep and meaningful connection. Aversion to depth in conversations can be interpreted as a lack of desire to form a genuine connection.
    • โ€œThe idea of vulnerability makes me uncomfortable.โ€ For Scorpio, vulnerability is the gateway to intimacy. Discomfort with vulnerability suggests an incompatibility with their need for emotional openness.
    • โ€œReally, mysteries and secrets donโ€™t interest me.โ€ Scorpio is attracted to mysteries and enjoys uncovering secrets. Lack of interest in these topics can seem superficial or uninterested to them.
    • โ€œI prefer each of us to have our own space and not share everything.โ€ While personal space is important, Scorpio seeks a deep emotional fusion with their partner. Preference for separation can seem like a lack of commitment.
    • โ€œDeep emotional discussions exhaust me.โ€ Scorpio is energized through intense emotional interactions. If these discussions exhaust you, it could be seen as a sign that youโ€™re not on the same emotional wavelength.
    • โ€œI donโ€™t believe in the idea of soulmates.โ€ Scorpio, often idealistic in love, may dream of finding their soulmate. Expressing disbelief in this concept could make them feel you donโ€™t share their romantic hopes.
    • โ€œI prefer light relationships to those that require emotional work.โ€ Scorpio understands that true love requires facing shadows and working on the relationship. Preference for the light may indicate a lack of willingness for the type of intimacy Scorpio seeks.
    • โ€œIntense passions tend to complicate things.โ€ Intensity is Scorpioโ€™s modus operandi; avoiding it can seem like youโ€™re rejecting an essential part of how they experience love and life.
    • โ€œIโ€™m not comfortable exploring difficult emotions.โ€ Scorpio sees value in exploring all emotions, including the difficult ones, as a means to grow and connect. Avoidance can be seen as a reluctance to fully commit.
    • โ€œProfound personal transformations are not for me.โ€ Scorpio is all about transformation and rebirth. Resistance to this change can be interpreted as a lack of desire to evolve together.
    • โ€œI think keeping some secrets is healthy in a relationship.โ€ Although privacy is important, Scorpio values total transparency. Keeping secrets can be a major point of contention.
    • โ€œIโ€™m not interested in solving complex problems in a relationship.โ€ Scorpio is committed to working on the relationship, no matter how complicated it gets. Avoiding complex problems can appear as a lack of commitment.
    • โ€œI donโ€™t think itโ€™s necessary to share our inner worlds completely.โ€ For Scorpio, sharing inner worlds is the essence of a deep relationship. Reluctance to do so can indicate a lack of essential connection.
    • โ€œIโ€™d rather not talk about the future of our relationship.โ€ Scorpio seeks security and depth in a shared future. Avoiding the topic can make them feel you donโ€™t value the relationship in the same way.

  • Lilith, Dionysus, and the Tantric Portals in the Astrology of the Signs

Lilith, Dionysus, and the Tantric Portals in the Astrology of the Signs

Exploring Lilith, Dionysus and the Philosophy of Tantra

The connection between the energy of Dionysus and that of Lilith highlights a fundamental aspect that has been explored both in astrology and in various cultures: the importance of including the senses and the body in the spiritual dimension of the human being. This approach underscores the need for full integration, where the physical and the spiritual coexist in harmony, contributing to the development of a complete and deeply integrated being.

One of the philosophies that most clearly speaks of this is ‘tantra’.

Tantra, in its most spiritual sense, is an Eastern practice and philosophy that seeks the expansion of consciousness and spiritual liberation through the union of opposites. Although in the West it is often primarily associated with sexual practices, tantra actually encompasses much more.

In spiritual terms, tantra is a path to enlightenment that recognizes the sacred in everything, including the body and the material world. It focuses on the integration of all facets of life and human experience, rather than rejecting the physical world in search of the spiritual. In this sense, tantra challenges some of the more ascetic notions of spirituality that seek to deny or transcend the physical world.

Tantra often involves the practice of rituals aimed at uniting the divine masculine (Shiva) with the divine feminine (Shakti), symbolizing the union of consciousness and energy, spirit and matter, and the celestial with the earthly. This union seeks to balance and harmonize these opposing energies within the individual, leading to a state of awakening and realization.

Tantra also emphasizes the importance of breaking free from social illusions and conditioning, liberating the individual from restrictions that limit the full experience of life and spirituality. It seeks a deeper connection with the inner self and the universe, allowing for a more integrated and holistic experience of existence.

A conceptual relationship can also be established between the practices and philosophy of tantra and the shadow work proposed by Carl Jung, although they come from very different contexts and traditions. Both approaches share the idea of integrating aspects of oneself that are often ignored, repressed, or unrecognized, in the process of achieving a state of greater fullness and consciousness.

The relationship between both approaches lies in the idea that growth and spiritual enlightenment do not come from the denial or repression of certain aspects of the self, but from their acceptance and integration. Both in Jung’s shadow work and in tantra, there is a recognition that the fullness of being can only be achieved when all parts of the psyche, including those dark and repressed, are acknowledged and accepted. This process allows for greater authenticity, freedom, and ultimately, a deeper connection with the self and the transcendental.

In astrology, any planet, sign, or aspect can be interpreted through the perspectives of Dionysus, Lilith, and tantra, providing a deeper and less conventional view. These approaches allow for the exploration of dimensions of consciousness that are often less evident or more easily suppressed in our daily lives.

Dionysian Perspective: Looking at signs and planets through the lens of Dionysus emphasizes the pursuit of ecstasy, the liberation from inhibitions, and the authentic expression of emotions and desires. This perspective can reveal how each sign or planet handles joy, sadness, pleasure, and pain, bringing to light aspects that may be repressed by social or personal norms.

Lilithian Perspective: Interpreting through Lilith focuses on autonomy, strength, and challenging restrictive structures and norms. Each sign or planet can express these qualities in unique ways, and this perspective helps to understand how the wildest, independent, or rebellious energies are manifested or suppressed.

Tantric Perspective: The tantric approach seeks the integration of all aspects of being, including the physical, emotional, and spiritual. By applying this vision to signs and planets, one can explore how each contributes to the union of opposites and the balance between the material and the spiritual, highlighting areas where there may be disconnection or imbalance.

Using these perspectives in astrological interpretation not only enriches the understanding of signs and planets but also offers a path to self-knowledge and the integration of the shadow. It allows recognizing and accepting parts of ourselves that are often ignored, rejected, or unexpressed, leading to greater acceptance and fullness in our life and being.

Our natal chart is a mosaic where the 12 zodiac signs play unique roles, each contributing to the rich complexity of our being. Particularly significant are those signs that host our natal planets, as they act as essential ‘portals’ for the integration of the totality of zodiacal energies. In these areas, we interact with the energies more consciously, although in the case of intercepted planets, this awareness often awakens or intensifies during significant planetary transits. The signs and houses that do not contain planets, on the other hand, harmonize subtly and progressively as we master the expression of the energies of those signs and houses that are activated by planets. This process of understanding and conscious expression of our most pronounced energies paves the way for a more complete integration and deep self-knowledge.

Therefore, I recommend exploring all the signs, and especially those in which you have planets or angular houses: 1st House, 4th House, 7th House, and 10th House.

    Aries: Awakening the Inner Fire

Exploring the energy of Aries through the lenses of Dionysus, Lilith, and tantra, we can understand how this astrological dynamic can facilitate the integration of the shadow and foster a holistic development of the being.

Aries and Dionysus: Aries, with its bold and passionate nature, strongly resonates with the liberating and ecstatic energy of Dionysus. This god of ecstasy and festivity invites uninhibited expression and the enjoyment of life in its fullness. In Aries, this influence translates into a brave exploration of life, enthusiasm for new experiences, and courage to face challenges. This bold disposition is essential for embracing parts of ourselves that may be reckless, impulsive, or aggressive, traits often relegated to the shadow.

Aries and Lilith: The energy of Lilith in Aries enhances self-affirmation and autonomy. Lilith represents aspects of rebellion, uncensored sexuality, and rejection of submission, especially against patriarchal and traditional structures. In Aries, this influence encourages a fiercely independent attitude and a readiness to challenge norms. Integrating this energy can mean recognizing and accepting our own needs and desires, even those that challenge social or personal expectations.

Aries and Tantra: From the tantric perspective, the integration of spirit and body is fundamental. Aries, with its emphasis on action, vitality, and passion, can symbolize the energetic union of vigorous physical experiences with spiritual and emotional strength. Aries invites living with fullness and authenticity, honoring both the body and the spirit in a dance of strength and passion. This holistic approach can help recognize and accept parts of ourselves that are impulsive, energetic, and passionate.

The synergy of Aries with the energies of Dionysus and Lilith, along with the principles of tantra, offers a unique path toward the integration of the shadow. Through the courage and autonomy of Aries, the ecstatic freedom of Dionysus, and the rebellious strength of Lilith, a deep acceptance of all facets of being is fostered, including those that are bold, independent, and challenging. This process not only embraces the shadow but also celebrates the strength and uniqueness of the individual, leading to a more authentic and fulfilling life.

The interaction of Cancer with the energies of Dionysus and Lilith, along with the principles of tantra, offers a unique approach to the integration of the shadow. Through deep emotional connection and the expression of feelings (Dionysus), the affirmation of the right to emotional independence and self-care (Lilith), and the harmonization of the emotional and the physical (tantra), Cancer can embrace and accept its intuitive and protective nature. Dionysus, as the deity of ecstasy and festivity, invites uninhibited expression and the enjoyment of life at its fullest. In Leo, this influence manifests as a passionate pursuit of self-expression, a love for the stage, and a desire to be recognized. Leo can integrate its shadow by accepting and freely expressing its need for attention and its natural generosity, even those facets that may be seen as vanity or egocentrism.

Leo and Lilith: In Leo, the energy of Lilith can be expressed in the assertion of one’s own identity and personal power. Lilith represents strength, independence, and often a rejection of imposed restrictions and limitations. For Leo, this may mean a brave exploration of their individuality and creativity, even in ways that may challenge social norms or expectations.

Leo and Tantra: From the tantric perspective, the integration of body and spirit is essential. Leo, with its emphasis on vital force, passion, and heart, symbolizes the union of the physical (the body and action) with the emotional and spiritual (the heart and passion). In tantra, Leo invites a full and passionate experience of life as a path to greater awareness and authenticity.

The interaction of Leo with the energies of Dionysus and Lilith, along with the principles of tantra, offers a unique approach to the integration of the shadow. Through self-expression and the pursuit of attention (Dionysus), the affirmation of one’s own power and uniqueness (Lilith), and the harmonization of passion with action (tantra), Leo can embrace and accept its dramatic and magnetic nature. This process facilitates the integration of shadow aspects related to pride, the need to be the center of attention, and the desire for recognition, promoting a more authentic and fully realized self.

Virgo: The Art of Subtle Perfection

The energy of Virgo, interpreted through the lenses of Dionysus, Lilith, and tantra, offers a unique perspective for the integration of the shadow and the holistic development of the self.

Virgo and Dionysus: Virgo’s connection with Dionysus is manifested in the pursuit of purity and perfection, albeit from a different perspective. While Dionysus represents surrender to pleasures and the celebration of life, Virgo focuses on precision, order, and utility. However, there is a meeting point in the devotion to something greater than oneself, whether in the form of Dionysian ecstasy or Virgo’s meticulous service. Virgo can integrate its shadow by recognizing and accepting imperfection within perfection, and by finding divinity in the details and everyday tasks.

Virgo and Lilith: In Virgo, the energy of Lilith can be expressed in empowerment through service and care. Lilith represents strength, autonomy, and rejection of traditional restrictions. For Virgo, this might mean asserting their right to choose how and whom to serve, and on what terms, rather than following imposed expectations. Virgo can integrate its shadow by embracing its power in providing service and care, recognizing that these actions are sources of strength, not submission.

Virgo and Tantra: From the tantric perspective, the integration of body and spirit is crucial. Virgo, with its focus on health, well-being, and precision, represents the union of the practical and physical with the spiritual and holistic. In tantra, Virgo invites a conscious and detailed experience of daily actions and practices as a path to greater understanding and fulfillment.

The interaction of Virgo with the energies of Dionysus and Lilith, along with the principles of tantra, offers a path for the integration of the shadow. Through recognizing the sacredness in the mundane (Dionysus), asserting autonomy in service and care (Lilith), and harmonizing the practical with the spiritual (tantra), Virgo can embrace and accept its detailed and helpful nature. This process facilitates the integration of shadow aspects related to criticism, perfectionism, and the tendency to overanalyze, leading to a more complete and authentically realized self.

Libra: On the Scales of Harmony

The energy of Libra, viewed through the perspectives of Dionysus, Lilith, and tantra, provides an interesting framework for the integration of the shadow and the holistic development of the self.

Libra and Dionysus: Libra’s connection with Dionysus is found in the pursuit of balance, harmony, and beauty in all things, resonating with the festive and harmonious nature of Dionysus. In Libra, this influence manifests as a love for aesthetics, peace, and balanced relationships. Libra and Lilith: In Libra, the energy of Lilith can be expressed in the assertion of equality and justice in relationships. Lilith represents strength, independence, and a rejection of repressive norms. For Libra, this might mean a brave exploration of autonomy within relationships, rejecting dynamics that impose inequalities or limitations.

Libra and Tantra: From the tantric perspective, the integration of body and spirit is fundamental. Libra, with its emphasis on relationships and connection, symbolizes the union of the emotional (spirit) with physical and relational experiences (body). In tantra, Libra invites a full and conscious experience of relationships as a path to greater understanding and harmonization of life’s dualities.

The interaction of Libra with the energies of Dionysus and Lilith, along with the principles of tantra, offers a unique path for the integration of the shadow. Through appreciation for harmony and beauty in all its forms (Dionysus), the affirmation of one’s own worth and right to equitable relationships (Lilith), and the pursuit of unity in dualities (tantra), Libra can embrace and accept its diplomatic and peacekeeping nature. This process facilitates the integration of shadow aspects related to indecision, dependency in relationships, and fear of conflict, promoting a more authentic and fully realized self.

    Scorpio: Exploring the Mysterious Depths

The energy of Scorpio, viewed through the lenses of the symbolism of Dionysus and Lilith, and in the context of tantric practices, offers a powerful and profound perspective for the integration of the shadow in the human being.

Scorpio and Dionysus: Scorpio’s energy aligns with the transformative and liberating nature of Dionysus. Dionysus represents the liberation from inhibitions, ecstasy, and the embrace of the deepest and most authentic aspects of the self. In Scorpio, this energy manifests as an invitation to dive into emotional and psychological depths, exploring and accepting the most intimate passions, desires, and fears. This exploration is a dance with the unknown, a quest for truth in the depths of the soul, akin to how Dionysus incites his followers to fully embrace all facets of life.

Scorpio and Lilith: Lilith in astrology symbolizes the primal and often repressed force of the feminine, representing aspects of independence, unrestricted sexuality, and power. In Scorpio, the energy of Lilith drives confrontation with what is often marginalized or subdued by society or the self. It’s a call to recognize and embrace personal power, even those aspects that might be seen as dark or taboo. Scorpio, ruled by this energy, encourages honest and brave confrontation with these aspects, allowing for greater authenticity and self-knowledge.

Scorpio and Tantra: Tantra teaches the integration of spirit and body, recognizing the divine in the physical and the material. In the context of Scorpio, this practice can be interpreted as the union of emotional and psychological depths (the spirit) with physical and sensory experiences (the body). It’s a path to enlightenment that doesn’t reject any part of the human being but seeks to understand and harmonize all its dimensions. Scorpio, through this lens, becomes a facilitator of this integration, encouraging confrontation and acceptance of all facets of the being.

The combination of these energies in Scorpio offers a powerful path towards the integration of the shadow. This sign, influenced by the ecstasy and freedom of Dionysus, the rebellious and unrestricted strength of Lilith, and the tantric quest for unity, encourages diving into the deep waters of the subconscious and the soul. Here, by facing and embracing our darkest and most repressed parts, lies the key to profound transformation and the realization of a truly integrated and authentic being.

Sagittarius, with its focus on the pursuit of truth and the expansion of consciousness, represents the union of physical exploration (travel, adventures) with spiritual and philosophical seeking. In tantra, Sagittarius invites a full and adventurous experience of life as a path to greater understanding and acceptance of the diversity of existence.

The interaction of Sagittarius with the energies of Dionysus and Lilith, along with the principles of tantra, offers a unique path toward the integration of the shadow. Through the relentless pursuit of knowledge and adventure (Dionysus), the affirmation of the right to freedom of thought and exploration (Lilith), and the harmonization of the physical with the spiritual (tantra), Sagittarius can embrace and accept its expansive and exploratory nature. This process facilitates the integration of shadow aspects related to impatience, exaggeration, and the desire to escape limitations, leading to a more authentic and fully realized self.

However, there is a meeting point in the celebration of achievements and the recognition of effort. In Capricorn, this influence translates into the search for structure, ambition, and achievement. Capricorn can integrate its shadow by recognizing and valuing the importance of balance between work and pleasure, learning to find moments for celebration and relaxation within its rigorous path to success.

Capricorn and Lilith: In Capricorn, the energy of Lilith can be expressed in the assertion of authority and personal power. Lilith represents independence, resistance to oppression, and a strong will. For Capricorn, this might mean a brave and determined exploration of their own goals and ambitions, even when they challenge established expectations or norms.

Capricorn and Tantra: From the tantric perspective, the integration of body and spirit is crucial. Capricorn, with its focus on the materialization of ideas and the realization of goals, symbolizes the union of the practical (the body and tangible actions) with the spiritual (vision and ambition). In tantra, Capricorn invites a conscious and disciplined experience of goals and aspirations as a path to greater fulfillment and completeness.

The interaction of Capricorn with the energies of Dionysus and Lilith, along with the principles of tantra, offers a unique approach to the integration of the shadow. Aquarius and Tantra: From the tantric perspective, the integration of all facets of life is fundamental. Aquarius, with its emphasis on humanity, innovation, and collective connection, represents the union of the individual with the universal. In tantra, Aquarius invites a full and conscious experience of the interconnectedness of all beings and the importance of each individual contribution to the whole.

The combination of Aquarius’ energies with Dionysus and Lilith, along with the principles of tantra, provides a unique path towards the integration of the shadow. Through innovation and creativity (Dionysus), the affirmation of the right to autonomy and originality (Lilith), and the pursuit of unity in diversity (tantra), Aquarius can embrace and accept its progressive and humanitarian nature. This process facilitates the integration of shadow aspects related to feelings of alienation, causeless rebellion, and a tendency towards emotional disconnection, promoting a more authentic and fully realized self.

  • The Dark Side of the Zodiac – From Aries to Pisces

The Dark Side of the Zodiac – From Aries to Pisces

What is “the dark side” of a sign?

The zodiac signs represent neutral energies. Much has been said about the dark aspects of each sign. In my opinion, they become “dark” because we judge them from our subjective reality, which contains personal, generational, and cultural ingredients. Perhaps for this very reason, their energy can become distorted by repressing certain natural aspects of the signs.

Hearing different people talking about the signs, their shadows, or their negative traits, I think what they say has more to do with their personal emotional responses to energies that they are not comfortable with. It is typical to hear that Leo is a narcissist, Scorpio dangerous, or Taurus materialistic, but in reality, all the signs represent pure energies that are essential for the healthy development of every living being.

However, when, for whatever reason, the energies of a sign cannot flow naturally, deviations from those energies can appear. The cause may be the repression of those energies or, at least, the lack of mastery over the energy in question.

And this is how what we call the Shadow appears. The shadow (or the dark side) of the sign of our Sun, Moon, Ascendant, and the other planets is not something to be avoided, but a message from our unconscious that there is something that requires our attention and that needs to be redirected. in a positive way in order to express that energy in all its splendor.

Mastery of these energies is something that is not achieved overnight. In fact, as a species, we are still learning to be human. Investigating the shadow of each sign can help us identify aspects of our being that need to be revisited, to release any type of energetic inhibition that prevents us from feeling fully and completely alive.

Do you dare to discover your shadow?

Warning: Since we are talking about the shadow, it is possible that the information that follows may cause some discomfort.

    The dark side of Aries

Aries looks for action. They need activity and to be able to follow their impulses. When the potential of Aries is inhibited, it is very possible that Aries begins to create unnecessary conflicts, looking for real or imaginary enemies that allow them, through fights, to release excess accumulated energy. They can lie on the sofa drinking beer in front of the TV and suddenly insult the closest person without warning. How has Aries been inhibited? Discouraging their life force. Calling them loud or too impulsive. When Aries energy manifests naturally, it directs its life force to open new paths, to conquer its goals. An inhibited Aries cannot connect with their natural assertiveness and it builds up inside them. Of course, sooner or later, it surfaces explosively.

    The dark side of Taurus

Taurus seeks peace, tranquility, and above all comfort. When Taurus’s potential is inhibited, the ability to feel pleasure and enjoyment in life cannot be lived naturally. So, Taurus, with that strength and perseverance that would normally lead them to produce something concrete to sustain them through their talents, end up dedicating themselves only to generating material goods. Taurus’ energy can be inhibited by discouraging their desire for quiet, their need to sleep until necessary, their enjoyment of food and other sensual pleasures, or their connection to nature and art. This is internalized as a devaluation of their selves. So, the energy of this Earth Venus recovers value through their possessions, seeking material security to compensate for the lack of self-esteem. This leads them to a predictable and boring life. When Taurus manifest their potential fluently, the ability to create material security is still present, but through what truly gives them pleasure.

    The dark side of Gemini

Gemini, with their innate curiosity, needs to communicate, express their ideas and exchange them with others. When Gemini’s potential is inhibited, the mental quickness of the sign of the twins is lost in a mental mazeโ€ฆ This causes nervous tension. The Gemini shadow is gathering information without a definite goal. They use their mental prowess to send their attention from one direction to another so quickly that in the end, they don’t even know what they want to know. Gemini’s curiosity is an ability that allows them to relate to the world and expand their perception of it, but when curiosity has no specific purpose, it becomes a tool for gathering “useless information”. When they can unravel their potential fluently, we find a curious being taking an interest in the world around them and communicating their impressions with intelligence and skill.

    The dark side of Cancer

Cancer needs to create emotional bonds and nurture as well as protect them. This gives them the feeling of being emotionally secure and fulfilled. When Cancer potential is inhibited, they feel unable to express their emotions, soโ€ฆ they keep them to themselves. However, the desire to maintain emotional ties is stronger than creating HEALTHY emotional ties. They can forgive very easily and often allow for all kinds of emotional imbalances as long as everything remains “the same”, which gives them a sense of belonging. Cancer’s ability to nurture and nurture itself needs a true connection to emotions. When their energy flows freely, their life reflects their self-caring ability. When this energy is inhibited, they may settle for what is familiar rather than nurturing, even if the experience is highly unsatisfying.

    The dark side of Leo

Leo, like the sun, give themselves unconditionally and need to see that their audience is happy to receive them. When Leo’s potential is inhibited, Leo will seek to please others at all costs. Actually, without knowing it, they are looking for an audience that watches their performance, because they feel appreciated that way. For Leo, this is a vital necessity. It is an exchange of energy, like the one we see in a concert between the artist and the audience. If the artist sings to an audience that doesn’t react to their music, their energy plummets and they lose the desire to play. A Leo who lets their energy flow freely acts like the Sun. They stay shining while allowing their true audience to show up naturally. An inhibited Leo will insist on performing to others, accommodating their self-expression according to the responses they receive, unconsciously seeking approval. Although what they seek is appreciation, they end up being accused of “wanting attention”.

    The dark side of Virgo

Virgo seeks to perfect their skill and offer them to the world, to feel useful. When Virgo’s potential is inhibited, the sign’s typical search for perfection becomes harmful, both to themselves and to others. There is a great tendency to see only flaws and to point out constantly what could be improved. In addition, many times, these imperfections are the product of self-esteem issues rather than real flaws. A free-flowing Virgo observes and manages reality in an efficient way, improving it day by day, and enjoying the process. An inhibited Virgo feels impure, full of flaws, and doesn’t stop judging themselves (and possibly others). They get lost in the details and don’t feel good until everything is perfectโ€ฆ something that may never happen. So, they stay in a state of permanent stress.

    The dark side of Libra

Libra seeks balance, agreements, and what is fair and harmonious. When Libra’s potential is inhibited, they have trouble making decisions because they haven’t been able to find their own inner balance. They intuitively seek harmony but do not know how to achieve it. That’s when indecision arisesโ€ฆ the product of a blockage. This block stems from the belief that holding still creates a certain balance. When Libra manifests in a fluid way, they know that everything is always in perfect balance. They don’t have to do anything to achieve it. If there is more there and less here, that is balance. 70% and 30% is a balance. Is that fair? The circumstances will tell. Sometimes it isn’t. And sometimes it is! But when Libra is inhibited, they will go for 50% and 50% to be “fair”, creating an artificial balance. So eventually they end up stuck, paralyzed, becoming indecisive. They have to remember that Libra doesn’t have to make decisions (that’s for Aries), but weigh things up. The decision arises by itself.

    The dark side of Scorpio

Scorpios seek to merge with their shadow in order to feel the entirety of their selves. Of course, this energy can be too intense for the other signs, that’s why the energy of Scorpio can be inhibitedโ€ฆ Haven’t we heard time and time again that we have to be careful of Scorpios? This is what the other signs say! Scorpios are scary because they dare to feel what others avoid. And when Scorpio’s energy is inhibited, their hunger for emotional fusion turns into poison. Kafka’s Metamorphosis is a perfect example of a Scorpio fluently exploring human nature. How many dare to go there? If this energy has not been encouraged, Scorpio can develop emotional repressions that turn into fantasies that recreate the worst-case scenarios of a given situation. Their mind fills with imaginary monsters that are really nothing more than shame, guilt, or fear in disguise. It is not easy for our Scorpio friends.

    The dark side of Sagittarius

Does Sagittarius have a dark side? Always smiling, optimistic and good-natured? Well, of course! When Sagittariu’s energy is inhibited, they are prone to rash actions that end in undesirable situations. Sagittarius energy seeks to freely explore, experience new possibilities, and learn more about the world. If this energy has been inhibited for one reason or another, the typical Sagittarius exuberance turns into constant restlessness and a feeling of being trapped. Then every once in a while, that pent-up energy is released and thrown into some adventure that makes them feel free and expanded. They run so fast that they don’t realize that the path has ended a few meters behind and now they are running in the void. And poof! The recklessness of Sagittarius is nothing more than a symptom of the inhibited desire to explore.

    The dark side of Capricorn

Coldness and emotional self-control are the shadows of Capricorn. This is a naturally restrained sign with a very clear sense of direction. In their natural state, these qualities allow Capricorn to achieve their personal goals. But when the energies of Capricorn are inhibited, they are not very clear where to direct their sense of responsibility and duty. Ambition is a natural aspect of Capricorn and if at any time it has been discouraged, Capricorn’s perseverance and ambition turn into bitterness and depression. They cannot connect with their own aspirations and begin to project them onto others, often in an authoritarian manner. If they cannot follow their own call, Capricorn’s ambition seeks to find its place in positions recognized by the status quo to compensate, forgetting about their true desires. Eventually, they become taciturn and distant, cut off from their emotions.

    The dark side of Aquarius

Aquarius has come to exemplify what it means to be an individual. Their motto is “Be yourself no matter what others say”. They are here to break with the status quo. It is not possible to “tame” Aquarius, although it is possible to inhibit them. It is enough to suppress their genius, and especially their individuality, their different way of seeing things so that the Aquarian inventiveness remains buried in the unconscious. If Aquarius can’t express their uniqueness, then they can’t exist. Aquarians become a shadow of themselves. They may appear to have adapted to the regulations of the status quo but in reality, they are disassociating from their true selves, creating a false identity. When Aquarius let their energy flow freely, it can shock society, but it also brings something new and progressive. When the Aquarian energy is inhibited, they end up developing mental alienation.

    The dark side of Pisces

Pisces is famous for its desire to escape reality. Butโ€ฆ why is this desire born? When Pisces’ potential is inhibited, the impressions they receive from the outside world stay in their emotional bodyโ€ฆ.and this can be overwhelming! If they can’t express what they feel in some creative or meditative way, their mind becomes a Van Gogh painting mixed with the images animal rights activists have shown them. Then they can decide either to create a fantasy world through denial or an alternate reality through perception-altering substances. Pisces can inhibit their potential when they are discouraged from the development of compassion and imagination. If they are shamed for being “too” sensitive, they end up inhibiting their natural sense of empathy. If they don’t find a creative outlet for the thousands of impressions they receive daily, they will numb themselves. Escapism can be found in all areas of life, and in more subtle ways than the obvious ones. Anything that disconnects them from reality works: partying every day, constantly watching moviesโ€ฆ – even working non-stop will help them to avoid feeling.

The 1st House and Your Rising Sign

I always see the ascendant as the portal through which our soul enters here, in 3D. House 1 is the vehicle that will allow us to navigate reality.

The sign where the cusp of the ascendant falls shows us the energy that allows our sun to shine, the moon to vibrate in a healthy way, etc. In other words, I do not see the rising sign as a mask that hides our being, but rather I see it as the enabler of our essential energy to move through physical reality.

The birth chart is created through the date and time of birth and the place of birth of an individual, which in a way reflects that it is a representation of our journey through the 3D world. The planet signs and other astrological points are universal representations of cosmic energies, but the natal chart represents the individual construction of that universal set. The twelve houses show how the experience takes place in physical reality and the 1st house, the ascendant, shows us the entrance portal that our soul has chosen to begin this journey through the world of reality.

For me, astrology allows us to see the process of incarnation of the Self on the material plane. The birth chart is a map that helps us understand the reality in which we were born. There we also see the tools, gifts, and purposes we have to live a satisfying Life.

The birth chart is created through the time of birth and the place of birth of an individual, which somehow reflects what it means, that is, a representation of our journey through the 3D world.  The planets, signs, and other astrological points are universal representations of cosmic energies.

But the birth chart represents the individual construction of that Universal Ensemble. The twelve houses show how the experience of physical reality takes place.

    The 10th House

The 10th house represents the externalization of our Self, our self-realization, and what is seen of us in the community. In a sense, the 10th house is our Everest to climb. Each one of us has a call. We want to achieve something. We want to fulfill our destiny. We want to know what the purpose of our life is. This is what the 10th house represents. A quest for self-realization. Our North.

I do believe that our 10th house is intimately related to the 4th house, its opposite in the house wheel. The 4th house is the lowest point of our birth chart, the nadir. This is our inner world. Here we establish our roots and they are as deep as we can go. In the 4th House, we integrate our sense of Self, we realize we are someone. We feel that we belong. This is our home, our family, and our ancestors.  Nobody but ourselves knows what means โ€œhomeโ€ to us. Regardless of what we experience there, feel safe in this familiar world.

We can see the 4th house as the seed of our Being. At one point, it begins to germinate and seeks light. The strongest light appears at noon. In the natal chart, noon is our 10th House.

In a certain way, we externalize from our unconscious what we need to enrich our inner world and vice versa. If we look at it in a shamanic way, we could say that when we reach our 10th House, our roots become deeper and stronger. In this way, we also benefit our ancestral lineage, and by deepening our roots, we access qualities that are more distant.

The sign that falls on the 10th House cusp describes the way we understand what “community” is. The 10th house is also said to describe how we are viewed by those who do not know us well. As I mentioned earlier, the sign on the 10th house cusp is intrinsically related to the sign on the 4th house cusp. Does it mean that we are one person on the inside and another person on the outside? Not really. The 10th House is “the top of the tree”. The 4th House is the roots. Our social reality has a lot to do with the quality of our roots. Knowing our inner world is essential to manifest what we really seek in life. In the 4th House, we find qualities that we can use and behavioral attachments that we need to investigate, which we have inherited from our ancestral lineage.

We are the seed that wants to grow towards the sun. And this is the impulse that takes us from the 4th House to the 10th. Although the signs found there are opposite, in reality, in astrology we see them as complementary. Between them, there is a magnetism that keeps them facing each other as if each one were a mirror that allows them to recognize themselves.

In traditional astrology, the 10th House speaks about our goals and career. It makes sense. But, why do we have certain goals? Or follow a certain career?

As I said before, for me, the 10th house describes a path that marks our particular destiny and that nourishes (and is nourished by) our ancestral lineage. A specific achievement, a certain quality. And especially, it is something that we offer to the community of the present. Our legacy to the world. At the same time, what we instinctively seek to achieve has been “fertilized” by our family line, our ancestors, our country, by previous generations. In the 4th House, we are the continuation of hundreds of previous generations and in the 10th House, we are the ones who create a reality (spiritual, material, mental, or emotional) for those who follow.

Connecting to the 4th house makes us feel that we are not alone, but that we are part of a pyramid of which, from our perspective, we are the apex. We are supported by our ancestors, who made it possible for us to be here now. In addition to our ancestors, in the 4th House, we also integrate our town, city, and country into our inner worldโ€ฆ in this sense, we are multidimensionalโ€ฆ we are part of pasts and presents that connect to us from various directions.

Of course, this goes for everything. Both constructive and destructive qualities are part of our ancestral heritage. In any case, we are not here to complete perfection but to expand certain qualities and transform what does not work according to our personal aspirations. Basically, we came here to be ourselves. Thatโ€™s our main goal.

So, as we can see, it is the goals and the motivations that allow us to go beyond what we could imagine, both internally and externally. Our social goals and ambitions are intrinsically linked to our internal development. And vice versa. As work, it sounds hard, because expanding our reality requires leaving our comfort zone for a while. Then, upon regaining comfort, a new goal arises, and this is how the path of personal growth continues. It is not a static reality but in perpetual change and expansion. From my point of view, this is what the 4th-10th axis describes.

However, despite everything I will say from now on, I firmly believe that the birth chart is a whole and that the 10th House, as our North, is just one of the components of a totality. The reason why our 10th House is in Aries or Taurus must be looked at along with the other components of the chart to have a full view of its meaning at a personal level.

So, I will talk about what our ambition is according to the 10th House sign, but we cannot know why and for what without looking at the natal chart in its entirety.

Many astrologers have equated the tenth house with climbing a mountain. I totally agree with this. For me, the 10th House is our personal Everest, which we are climbing thanks to force and also despite the strength of our ancestral lineage.

I will speak about the potential and soulโ€™s work. Of course, this is a subject for deeper elaboration, but I will cover it in my courses and my upcoming book, as it requires much more time.

The Planets in the 10th House

The planets show what part of our Self is seen by the community. It is often said that planets in the 10th house can signify other people who have more capacities than us and who in some way subdue us or make us feel โ€œunderโ€ them. However, we can also see the people represented by the planets as examples that display the qualities that we have the ability to unravel, out in the open. Because the 10th House is our community, planets in the 10th house are externalized there. Depending on the planet we can encounter individuals that represent qualities signified by the sign and planet. They are, anyway, a mirror of ourselves.

The Sun in the 10th House indicates that we shine in the community. We are here to externalize our spirit, to show it in the community.

Lastly, for those who asked: what system of houses do I use? I prefer Placidus because it is the one that resonates the most and it is the first I learned. I sometimes use Equal Houses or Koch, but I end up always with Placidus. The best is to use a house system that resonates the most for you.

  • Lilith, The Black Moon in Taurus

Lilith, The Black Moon in Taurus

And a lust for life keeps us alive.

Lana del Rey – Lilith in Tauro

Have you felt that your sensuality has made you try everythingโ€ฆ even what you don’t like? Or a very strong desire to create material security? When Lilith is in the sign of Taurus, her primordial energy takes us to the world of the senses to explore a universe that she wants to discover.

    The Lilith Archetype in Astrology

Defining Lilith is almost impossible from our point of view, because Lilith, the Black Moon, is related to hidden, unknown and invisible superhuman powers. We can feel it, we can hear her whisper, but we cannot define her because we donโ€™t really know her.

In this article we see the โ€œconsequencesโ€ of having Lilith in Taurus from an everyday point of view. However, Lilith always reminds us that we cannot control her. Our job is to make her part of ourselves and allow her to act in collaboration with the rest of the parts of our being. When we do this, Lilith transforms into a true instinctive expert who perfectly uses the energies of the sign where she is and who, when necessary, does what we dare not do.

“My desire for possession and control is insatiable; I am willing to hold on to things and people, even if it causes harm.”

    A trapped Lilith in Taurus

    Lilith in Taurus

Wherever Lilith is in our birth chart, she describes a number of qualities that are expressed in a different way than we are used to. It seems that Lilith unleashes a wild part of our nature. In Taurus, Lilith loves to sleep and do nothing. She is serene and very connected to her body and seeks stability at all costs. The reasons for this? We need to read the entire birth chart. What we can be sure of is that there is a part of our nature that is well connected to the earth, to the physical world. And this comes out viscerally.

I see Lilith’s influence as essential to accessing our “genius.” However, Lilith’s energy is very intense and if we do not understand it we can fight it. Can we integrate Lilith’s energy without self-destructing?

Some possible meanings of Lilith in Taurus include:

    Possibilities

    1. Stability and Sensuality: Lilith in Taurus is often associated with a strong focus on stability and sensuality. Those with this astrological placement tend to value the comforts of life and the physical world.
    2. Determination and Perseverance: They usually possess strong determination and perseverance. When they set their sights on a goal, they are willing to work diligently to achieve it.
    3. Material Abundance: Lilith in Taurus may bring an inclination toward attracting material abundance. They are often skilled at managing resources and enjoying the pleasures of the physical world.
    4. Grounded and Reliable: They are typically grounded and reliable individuals. Others may look to them for stability and support.

    Conflicts

    1. Stubbornness and Resistance to Change: A common challenge is stubbornness and a resistance to change. They may have difficulty adapting to new situations or letting go of the past.
    2. Material Attachment: Lilith in Taurus individuals can become overly attached to material possessions and may define their self-worth by their material wealth.
    3. Resistance to Risk: They may have a strong aversion to taking risks, which can limit their potential for personal growth and new experiences.
    4. Overindulgence: A desire for physical pleasures can sometimes lead to overindulgence in food, possessions, or sensory experiences.

I already said that it is very important to read the rest of the birth chart to see more clearly the positive side of Lilith. For example, Lilith is able to show us the dark side of our Moon. When we donโ€™t nourish ourselves as needed, Lilith becomes a constant and sharp reminder that keeps letting us know that there is something that is lacking in our lives. Therefore, learning Lilithโ€™s language is essential to avoid confusing her howl with something devilish. Lilith is grotesque in our eyes, but in reality, she is a goddess who watches over the shadows, which is nothing more than a world unknown to us. Lilith is as much a mother as Eve, but she has other matters to attend to.
