My passion for astrology began at 15 through my father, who introduced me to the mentor who helped me cast my first natal chart. Since then, it has been an inseparable part of my life.
Over the years, I have studied its extensive history while exploring other symbolic languages, including the I Ching, Tarot, archetypal psychology, and comparative mythology.
There was a time, however, when I stopped reading entirely. The things I read in books made me feel sick; I felt judged, mistranslated, and many things in descriptive and psychological astrology simply didn’t resonate as true. And yet, I couldn’t stop thinking astrologically.
That was when I decided to strip away the interpretive layers and focus purely on the core astrological language. This is how I began to redesign it in a much more organic way, weaving everything I had learned into a unique language of my own that I continue to develop today.
For all of this, I thank my father for laying the foundation for my existence, planting the seeds for the passions that would later sustain my life; Betty, my first astrology teacher; my mother for her likes, her unwavering daily support, and for helping me keep going; and my brother, for his constant encouragement, always believing in me whether through music, technology, or astrology. To my grandfather, my grandmothers, and my great-aunt, for teaching me how to be an artisan of life. And my uncles, aunts, and cousins, creating new versions of my family. And to my ancestors, whom I have never known, but who sustain those of us on this side of life.
